Dr. Victoria Vardell, MD

Clinical Expertise

Dr. Victoria Vardell is a hematologist with broad clinical expertise spanning classical and malignant hematology, as well as bone marrow transplantation. She practices the full spectrum of classical hematology, with particular interests in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), including essential thrombocythemia and polycythemia vera, and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). In addition to her clinical practice, she plays a key leadership role in developing and expanding a dedicated classical hematology program within Intermountain Health, Utah's largest healthcare system.

Healthcare Leadership

As Medical Director of Classical Hematology for Clinical Programs at Intermountain Health, Dr. Vardell provides system-wide clinical and strategic leadership focused on optimizing hematologic care. Her responsibilities include developing evidence-based care pathways, advancing quality improvement initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. She also provides specialty expertise and formulary consultation to SelectHealth, helping guide clinical and coverage decisions across one of the Mountain West's largest integrated healthcare and insurance networks.
